My PV story: I have known the all-too-awesome Joelle since 2005. We met at Starbucks and were “just add water” friends. We stayed friends even after we left the Bux, running in a lot of the same circles, and finally I just said, “Let me be one of your girls!” She agreed, imagine that! And here we are.
(NOTE FROM JOELLE: Nicole is too modest to mention that she is an incredible classically trained violinist!)
Job that pays the bills: Administrative Assistant for High 5 Games, a company that designs digital slot machine games.
Job(s) that keep the sanity: I wouldn’t really call them jobs, although some of my friends throw money at me, but, watching my friends’ babies! (And now, Planet Verge!)
An ideal Saturday in my world: This would consist of sleeping until 9 or 10, making delicious coffee, eating something ultra tasty and getting together with someone I love or some close friends. (I would be lying if I didn’t say that sometimes a perfect Saturday is just me, alone, dancing and singing loudly to my fav tunes and being outright strange where nobody can see…)
Favorite article of clothing: It’s impossible to pick just one, so I say, my favorite ACCESSORY is (are) my glasses! They’re fun and funky and give personality to everything I wear, be it a hoodie and jeans or a funky dress with pants and a scarf that shouldn’t match but somehow does…
What’s on my Netflix Queue: Alas, I have not subscribed to this “Netflix” phenomenon, so I will instead say that I am stuck on the Food network, TLC, FUSE and Palladia, like it’s my job. (And I am in love with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia).
What’s on my grocery list: Everything at Trader Joe’s!
Who I love: A lot of people, to include Invisible Prince Charming, my friends, family, and John Mayer.
Most starstruck moment: When John Mayer looked directly into my beady little eyes while singing an ENTIRE song in Atlantic City, 2008. And getting his guitar pick that very same night. (Proof that waiting in line eight hours to be in the front row truly pays off..)
My advice to you: Be yourself. Do what makes YOU happy and forget what everyone else thinks, live for the things that make you tick, life’s too short not to.
