Home: City of Champions, or as some call it, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
Has Been Seen: All over the entertainment scene in Pittsburgh, (people are actually probably sick of seeing me) I’ve worked with and promoted a ton of local and national musicians over the past few years, so shows are always a good place to find me as well as Froggy Radio events, doing hair and makeup for: music videos, fashion shows, Pittsburgh sport events, night clubs, television, any motion pictures that pass through, pretty much any relevant thing dealing with entertainment. My best friend Rachael calls me a “situation rapist” because I take advantage of any opportunity that comes my way and-although possible poor word choicing in the phrase- I love that because it’s quite true. Also, I think I may be on Wal-Mart’s exiled shopper list. BONUS: If you’ve seen the movies Adventureland, She’s Out of my League, Sorority Row or Love and Other Drugs you’ve seen my doofy face in those too!
Job that pays the bill: CanDeVa’s Salon which I co-own with my mom and gram; that’s right I’m a third generation salon brat and love it!
Job(s) that keep the sanity: Any job I can creatively spread my wings in like being Jessica Ribbit on Froggy Radio, doing Freelance hair and makeup in any form, but I primarily love working on movies and with music. I enjoy selling merch. for bands too, I can be very persuasive 
(I dabble in PR, media relations and marketing from time to time as well). Of course writing for Planet Verge has been an insane blessing and has opened up a whole new world of awesomeness in my life.
An ideal Saturday in my world: ROADTRIP!!! Packing up my friends, some snacks, great music, a camera and a fully functional GPS, leaving around 3A.M. and I’m set for life! I don’t even have to have a purpose or anything planned to see; if I could live on the road everyday I would, I love it. Love traveling and seeing really random things a lot of people don’t get the opportunity to see. That or just going to the local Wal-Mart and trying not to get kicked out, yup either of those would pose for a great Saturday in my life.
Favorite article of clothing: Anything fun I can throw in my hair works flowers, hats, headbands, a little bling, you know something fun. Also sundresses with cowboy boots in the summer-it’s a bit of a girly girl meets badass type of feel.
What’s on my Netflix Queue: unfortunately with my schedule, I rarely get to see movies, so my Netflix is like 40 years behind, but I enjoy anything from the 1980’s and some of my favorites that I could watch over and over would be, The Princess Bride, The Burbs, Midnight Run, What About Bob, That Thing You Do!, Enemy of the State, Rebel Without A Cause, The Little Mermaid, Anchorman- just about anything with Paul Rudd in it, and any movie that I’ve weaseled my way to be an extra in .
What’s on my grocery list: I’ve been attempting to get into the whole organic deal, which works until I walk into the aisle that has all the awesome baking ingredients. I’m a baking freak! I also enjoy Jello, loads of fruit-pineapples, lemons, strawberries, raspberries etc. , anything to make a killer Italian meal, waffles, Arnold Palmer Half/Half, and a snickers to keep my inner-diva away!
Who I love: I love God & Jesus for being way too gracious and good to me every day I’m alive. I adore my family and my friends, I can be all over the place a lot of the time and they love me and keep me going every day; sometimes that love involves a few slaps in the head here and there, but it works! I also love people I meet who have amazing passion and faith and people who dream for incredible things because they are the folks that keep my spirit alive kicking. WWE Wrestler Shawn Michaels- I actually was hell bent on going to Texas when I was a jr. in high school to go to his wrestling school because I adored him so much-I know, I’m an odd one. Oh and I love men with accents-the end!
Most starstruck moment: Honestly, probably 3 years ago when my friend Kristin and I got shot with an air-pellet-something-or-other-gun (don’t quote me on that specific name-haha) by Isaac Hanson, yes of the 1997 famed MMMBOP‘n Hanson trio, from of his tour bus (he had horrible aim) and their one roadie saw and made him come off and he apologized to us and started chatting with us for a few then we all got a few pictures together. Normally, I’d be rambling like Speedy Gonzales on crack when I get excited like that, but I think it was because 11 years before that moment I would’ve probably given my unborn child’s life to be in that position, and I just stood there because it was chilled and really surreal so many years later-it was an awesome moment. And how many people can say they got shot by one of their childhood idols right?
My advice to you: Never settle for something that doesn’t make you happy. Life is full of so many opportunites that you can do literally anything that your heart desires, and surround yourself with love and people who provide the positivity and joy you deserve. Don’t be afraid to be silly, crazy, loud, or to let your heart be open, life is much more enjoyable when you’re living it.
My favorite sites: I’m a typical Facebook addict. I’m getting my “tweet on” a bit more these days on the Twitter. Texts from last night is where I go anytime I need a good laugh at the expense of others.
