On the Verge: iChat with Shawn Harris (Maniac)

In a special iChat edition of On the Verge, PV’s Joelle has a cross-continent chat with Shawn Harris. We’d call him the eccentric half of Maniac, but his partner in crime, Jake Grigg, is right up there with him. That’s what makes this collaboration between two of music’s much-loved frontmen (Harris hails from California’s the Matches and Grigg is way of Australian act Something with Numbers), so intriguing. When they weren’t comparing nail polish, Harris discusses Maniac’s newly released debut EP, reveals when the band (yes, there’s more Maniac’s on the way and they’re chics!) will be touring America, confirms he’s a dare devil and spills some dirt on Grigg.
