Motion City Soundtrack can do no wrong. This is fact. The Minneapolis based synth-pop rock band never ceases to amaze fans with hilarious commentary, entertaining stage moves, and rocktastic performances. So when I heard they would be coming back to New York with a new album, My Dinosaur Life, and new string of shows, I was PUMPED!

As a birthday treat to myself, I and fellow Planet Verge lady, Rose, hit up New York City to catch Motion City Soundtrack live at Irving Plaza with This Providence and Set Your Goals. The night was full of sweat, shouts, bruises, and wrecked clothing. WORTH IT. Here are some photos we managed to capture in the midst of crowd surfers and other rule-breaking show attenders:

Set List
The show was full of energy as always can be expected from a band like Motion City Soundtrack. If you haven’t heard of them yet you’ve been living under a rock. Go do yourself a favor and collect their discography, or just pick up the new album, My Dinosaur Life. I dare you to try and sit still upon listening.
