Sarah Palin; former VP-nominee, former Governor of Alaska, and current grandmother to sort-of-Playmate Levi Johnston’s love child; has scored a recurring gig on Fox News as a commentator. The news has shocked pretty much no one.

But, like a teenage girl trying to decipher a text from that dreamy boy in chemistry class, everyone everywhere is wondering “What does it all mean?!” And of course the liberal talking and writing heads have been hard at work trying to tear her down. Again.
Personally, I’m not a fan of Sarah Palin, just as I am not a fan of Fox News. So I’m going to go ahead and throw a big kudos to Fox and say congratulations and, dare I, thank you to Palin. Not only will she be too busy with her new television gig to have spare time to, say, plot a run in 2012, she will also be confined to a station I can actively avoid… More than I already do. And her fans can rest easy knowing they have her all to themselves.
Wonder how Fox will angle to get those gams…

I would prefer that she run again, so Obama could automatically get a second term. However, I’m SUPER excited for the Daily Show writing staff.
