The Lovemakers, led by former flames Lisa Light and Scott Blonde, have been getting plenty of X’s and O’s since Talking House Productions released the band’s new album, Let’s Be Friends, in September. The San Francisco based electro-pop darlings have captured the hearts of iTunes execs, fans and even Shaq (he Twittered about them!) with their anthemic-worthy single “Love Is Dead.” OTV host Megan sits down with Lisa during the CMJ Music Marathon at Maxwell’s to discuss roughing it on the road and then gets some secret scoop from Lisa’s proud pop!
While Scott Blonde of The Lovemakers did eventually find parking, he did not arrive in time to make the video portion of the interview. His comments were received via text message:
